Animal Products values ​​your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for our services. We handle the collected data with care and never share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

Purpose of processing
We use your data solely for the purposes of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you place.

• An enrollment for a course;
• Processing your payment;
• Have products delivered to you;
• Call or email you if this is necessary to provide our services;

We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing.
If you share data with us and we use it to contact you at a later date, other than at your request, we will ask for your explicit consent.

Personal data we process
First and last name
Address (street, house number, postal code, and city)
Email address
Bank details
Other personal data you actively provide, for example, as an addition to an order on our website, in correspondence, and by telephone.

Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with investigations
In certain cases, Animal Products may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such cases, we are compelled to share your data, but we will object to this within the limits of Dutch law.

Retention Period
Animal Products retains your data for as long as you are a customer. This means we retain your data until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will delete your data.
Due to legal administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data. Currently (December 2020), the legal retention period is 7 years.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Animal Products shares your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any accounting and legal obligations. The companies that process your data on our behalf have at least the same level of security and confidentiality regarding your data. Examples of these third parties include WooCommerce for our online store software, Mollie for our automated payment processing, and PostNL for order delivery.

Access, modify, and/or delete data
You have the right to access, correct, and/or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to our processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or an organization you specify.

To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your ID with your request. In this copy, please redact your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
We will contact you within two business days to confirm your request and respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.
